When you click Send in Gmail, Unsend Intelligence reads the following from your compose window:
Your email data is sent to our secure server solely for real-time AI-powered analysis. The server processes the data, returns the analysis results, and immediately discards the data. We do not store, log, or retain any email content or recipient information on our server.
We use OpenAI's API to perform AI-powered checks (wrong recipient detection, sensitive data scanning, tone analysis). Email data sent to OpenAI is subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy. OpenAI does not use data sent via API for training purposes.
The extension stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome's storage API:
This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by removing the extension.
We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third parties. Your email data is only transmitted to our analysis server and OpenAI for the sole purpose of providing the email safety analysis.
All data transmission between the extension and our server uses HTTPS encryption. Our server does not store any user data or email content.
You can disable or remove the extension at any time, which will stop all data access and delete all locally stored data. You can also toggle individual checks on or off in the extension settings.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
